Photoshop Course Description
This course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to Adobe Photoshop, the industry-standard software for digital imaging, graphic design, and visual content creation. Students will learn essential skills including photo editing, retouching, color correction, advanced selections, masking, digital compositing, typography, and creative design techniques. Through hands-on projects and real-world assignments, learners will gain experience designing posters, social media graphics, digital artwork, and high-quality visual content. By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently navigate the Photoshop workspace, apply non-destructive editing workflows, and create professional-level graphics suitable for print, web, and multimedia production.
The Video Editing and Compositing with Adobe Premiere course introduces students to the full professional workflow of crafting polished, high-quality video content.
Semester A
Using Adobe Premiere Pro, learners will explore essential editing techniques including timeline management, multi-camera editing, color correction, audio mixing, transitions, and visual storytelling. Students will work hands-on with real footage to build strong editing fundamentals, learning how to organize projects, refine pacing, enhance emotion, and shape compelling narratives for film, social media, commercials, and digital platforms.
Semester B
In addition to core editing, the course emphasizes compositing and advanced post-production techniques. Students will learn how to integrate graphics, green screen footage, motion elements, and visual effects into their projects to create seamless, professional compositions. By connecting Premiere with other Adobe applications such as After Effects and Photoshop, learners will gain exposure to an industry-standard pipeline used across media and entertainment. By the end of the course, students will be able to produce broadcast-ready video projects, combining creativity and technical skill to deliver clean, dynamic, visually engaging content.
